Burner Fails to Light
|
- Propane supply valve close don propane tank(s).
- Excess-flow check valve closed.
- Blockage in burner nozzle.
- Piezo ignition system not sparking.

- Open propane supply valve slowly.
- Close propane supply valve on propane tank and reopen slowly.
- Replace burner nozzle.
- Check to assure ignitor electrode dap is .195". Check wire lead for damage.

Burner lights but goes out when automatic control valve button is released
|
- Not enough warm up time.
- Low gas pressure
- Thermocouple loose or needs to be replaced.
- Automatic control valve needs to be replaced.

- Relight, hold automatic control valve button in 45 seconds.
- Check propane tank(s) for proper gas supply.
- Tighten connection or replace thermocouple.
- Replace automatic control valve.

Burn Rate Is Low
|
- Main burner valve not fully open.
- Plugged gas orifices.
- Low gas pressure.
- Low fuel supply.
|
- Fully open main burner valve by turning control knob towards HIGH position until it stops.
- Replace gas orifice.
- Check gas supply; check regulator output.
- Consult propane gas supplier.
