Fan Does not turn when electrical connection is made
|
- No electric power to heater.
- Fan black contacts inside of heater housing.
- Fan blade(s) bent.
- Fan motor defective.

- Check current to electric outlet. If voltage is correct, check power cord and extension cord for cuts and breaks.
- Be sure that housing is not damanaged.
- Straighten blade(s) to match others.
- Replace motor.

Heater will not fire.
|
- No spark at ignitor.
- Improper spark gap.
- Bad electrode.
|
- Check ignitor wire. Re-attach or tighten if loose. Check Spark module. Replace if necessary.
- Set gap to 0.16" (0.08" for RMC-FA300)
- Replace Spark Plug.

Heater quits while running.
|
- Internal temperature too high causing limit switch to shut down operations.
- Damage Control Valve.
- Dust or debris build-up inside of heater.
|
- If the heater output is restricted, internal temperature becomes too high. Move heater away from any obstructions.
- Replace Control Valve.
- Clean inside of heater.
