Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Stove I purchased this pellet stove Oct. 2013. Have been using it for about 4 months. ! would've rated it 5 stars... but yesterday the convection blower failed where the bushing sets in the rubber. The rubber came apart in 2 pieces. The stove is cleaned regularly & until now, I've had no issues. However... I don't particularly like the design of this bushing, & rubber, on the end of the blower cage. I hope it's not going to be a constant problem, it's really a NICE Stove, to let such a small part be such a large issue. Stove doesn't run without it. I'm waiting to a get replacement, hopefully under the warranty. But I would still recommend this stove to a friend, or family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome stove We actually bought and installed the stove spring of 2014 after the burn season. Started using it in October of 2014 and have loved it ever since. I clean it regularly (weekly for the most part and monthly for some of the other areas) and my home is nice and toasty. We're remodeling and making a lot of repairs so the house right now is drafty but it's still warm even in Michigan winter. My only issue is the noise that started after the most recent monthly cleaning. I'm reading on here that a rubber bushing is probably giving out... I've already emailed the company but I may call them anyway. I still love the stove and would tell anyone to get one... but make sure you get extra bits so you have them on hand!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heats the house fine I bought this stove in January 2014. I've had it now for almost a year and as far as heating my 1400 sq ft house, it works fine. It was very easy to install and cleaning it is simple. The only issue I have with it is that it rattles and is very loud. Everyone that comes over always asks me if it is always as loud as it is and they also say it most likely shouldn't be as loud as it is. I have kind of gotten used to it. I am calling the manufacturer on Monday to complain about it. It's becoming annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well if you keep it clean We've had this stove for a year and it has worked well. We set it up in the basement and it keeps the entire space (1100 sq ft) at 70 degrees at about 40% thermostat even on the coldest days. We live in upstate NY and had an unseasonably long and cold winter last year and the stove worked fine. The only problem came when I didn't clean it often and thoroughly enough. We're buying another one for our other house near the Canadian border. Also, Jacob, from Customer Service has been extremely helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Set it and forget it! Fantastic pellet stove!! I bought the stove in august of 2014 after the previous years propane prices went through the roof. I did allot of research on stoves and read allot of customers reviews whether a 3000. dollar stove or a 1000. dollar stove there was always some negative reviews but pleasant hearth had the least negative and the most positive reviews out of the stoves in this price range. I have been burning the stove since October and it has been great. I am heating a 2500 sq. foot house and I am very pleased with the stove so far it has been flawless. I have an unfinished walk out basement and I am planning on installing another pleasant hearth stove down there next season. I do vacuum my stove out everyday even though I don't need to the cleaner you keep it the better it will perform.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Loving my new heat source!! I've only had my pellet stove for a months so far and I LOVE IT so far!!! It is very easy to clean and the customers service has been so helpful with just basic questions. I have it in my living room and it heats up the entire first floor which is about 1700 sq ft. The only two minor things I would encourage on a newer model if possible is to be able to change maneuver the vents to face up or down or left or right. Also the blower is a little bit loud but the benefits out way that.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! and Even Better support! Bought the PH50CAPS for my 1700 Sq, foot home and it heats it well. My Furnace hasn't turned on since i got it. I bought it almost a year ago and recently it became very noisy. After reading some reviews I have found that a rubber bushing in the convection blower goes bad. I called the customer service number and with out question they told me the part is on its way. Probably the best customer service I have ever dealt with. Thanks again! I woulld recommend any of your products!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from couple of problems not major installed a PH50CAP two years ago, the fire pot needed to be replaced(under warranty) just before starting it for the heating season the stove was covered in rust, looked like it was 10 years old, had to sand an repaint, the factory paint was not good, now the blower motor is making a squeal that will drive you crazy, waiting to hear back from customer support to see if there is a fix. all said and done this stove does one heck of a job heating our house

Can the cabinet stove be PARTIALLY recessed into an alcove? I'm removing an existing propane fireplace and can line the space with tile/stone. The alcove is about 44"W X 22"D X 55"H. I can increase the height dimension.
