Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Stove I purchased this pellet stove Oct. 2013. Have been using it for about 4 months. ! would've rated it 5 stars... but yesterday the convection blower failed where the bushing sets in the rubber. The rubber came apart in 2 pieces. The stove is cleaned regularly & until now, I've had no issues. However... I don't particularly like the design of this bushing, & rubber, on the end of the blower cage. I hope it's not going to be a constant problem, it's really a NICE Stove, to let such a small part be such a large issue. Stove doesn't run without it. I'm waiting to a get replacement, hopefully under the warranty. But I would still recommend this stove to a friend, or family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heats the house fine I bought this stove in January 2014. I've had it now for almost a year and as far as heating my 1400 sq ft house, it works fine. It was very easy to install and cleaning it is simple. The only issue I have with it is that it rattles and is very loud. Everyone that comes over always asks me if it is always as loud as it is and they also say it most likely shouldn't be as loud as it is. I have kind of gotten used to it. I am calling the manufacturer on Monday to complain about it. It's becoming annoying.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well if you keep it clean We've had this stove for a year and it has worked well. We set it up in the basement and it keeps the entire space (1100 sq ft) at 70 degrees at about 40% thermostat even on the coldest days. We live in upstate NY and had an unseasonably long and cold winter last year and the stove worked fine. The only problem came when I didn't clean it often and thoroughly enough. We're buying another one for our other house near the Canadian border. Also, Jacob, from Customer Service has been extremely helpful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Set it and forget it! Fantastic pellet stove!! I bought the stove in august of 2014 after the previous years propane prices went through the roof. I did allot of research on stoves and read allot of customers reviews whether a 3000. dollar stove or a 1000. dollar stove there was always some negative reviews but pleasant hearth had the least negative and the most positive reviews out of the stoves in this price range. I have been burning the stove since October and it has been great. I am heating a 2500 sq. foot house and I am very pleased with the stove so far it has been flawless. I have an unfinished walk out basement and I am planning on installing another pleasant hearth stove down there next season. I do vacuum my stove out everyday even though I don't need to the cleaner you keep it the better it will perform.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! and Even Better support! Bought the PH50CAPS for my 1700 Sq, foot home and it heats it well. My Furnace hasn't turned on since i got it. I bought it almost a year ago and recently it became very noisy. After reading some reviews I have found that a rubber bushing in the convection blower goes bad. I called the customer service number and with out question they told me the part is on its way. Probably the best customer service I have ever dealt with. Thanks again! I woulld recommend any of your products!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall Good Economy Stove Purchased end of August with special savings at Lowes. Stove needs the fresh air kit to run. I had to locate a 10' intake pipe which was difficult and expensive. Throws out large amounts of heat like the automatic feature but the eco choice heataltor sister version is more rugged and easier maintenance. Unit is very quiet which is very nice over the Englanders and Summer heat. It does take a couple firings to get fumes and smell out though.

The only downside that I've run into at this point is the convection blower - The bearing isn't the greatest so it tends to fail prematurely. I've already had the blower replaced once and the new one is only a few weeks old and is making noises already. Customer service was great about replacing it the first time so I'm hoping it's just as easy when I call again soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What more can I ask for? Wow! I have been out of the Army for 2 years and as a new homeowner I recently bought this stove in order to cut back on my oil usage. I previously spent $900 a month on oil for a 64 degree home and now with the stove I've cut that back to just 1 ton of pellets a month and my home is a toasty 72 degrees. The stove is amazing at evenly dispersing the heat throughout my home which was what amazed me the most.

millsie mentioned that the stove required the fresh air kit to work? Is this true? I recently bought a house which had the avalonb 900PS installed, it just dropped dead..however it didnt have any air intake. plz let me know ASAP

I know you said the development team upgrades the products every year, but has the blower motor been replaced with a better version? Seems easy enough to change the design and we would pay a few extra hundred if it will last.

I am just about ready to make a purchase, but I hope to hear that you have redesigned the bushing on the blower that seems to be the ONLY complaint with this stove.  Has it been upgraded?

Can you light the stove manually if the starter goes bad

You can not. The vacuum switch would be triggered when the door is opened, so it wouldn't be able to be lit in this manner. Thank you Jeremy.

If there's no ash pan where do the ashes go when they fall through the holes in burn pot. Thinking about buying one of these stoves have an Englander now and doesn't burn very good

It stays in the firebox and must be vacuumed on a weekly basis or more often depending on ash-buildup from frequency of use.
